The Swallows are at it again!

Well, these little birds are prolific if nothing else. Today, the second set of babies left the nest. The first clutch had 5 eggs, this one had two. I managed to snap a couple of pics just as the babies were leaving the nest!

Here, mom/dad is trying to encourage the first "escapee" to leave the relative safety of the string of lights. Poor little thing was NOT at all sure that this was going to be ok. And then, like all birds.... it flew away with NO problems.

And here I caught baby #2 right before it took to wing. This one nearly hit me as it left the nest!
