It's winter... oh yes.

I don't care what the calendar says, winter has arrived. Monday evening, the sunset was tinged with pink. It gave the snow that had already fallen a subtle rosy glow.
Shortly before it got dark, the snow started falling again, and the wind started howling. Before we knew it, the snow was blowing sideways. It kept going all night. Tuesday morning, the snow was stuck to doors and windows and screens:

This one shows that our road, even though plowed, is still VERY icy.

The snow kept falling and blowing sideways on and off all day. At one point I could hardly see the hotel across the street. Thankfully, today has brought us sunshine and a forecast showing a couple days of semi nice weather. This means the roads will be safer for Dale who's driving up today after work!
